The Department of Justice released a report Friday that indicated that Minneapolis Police engaged in a pattern of violating constitutional rights against Black residents.Attorney General Merrick Garland revealed the findings in a news conference Friday morning.The report was released after a two-year DOJ investigation prompted by the 2020 killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis Police officer.Garland said that Black and Native American people were six times more likely than White people to be stopped by police in situations that did not result in an arrest or citation. When Joanna Brooks first opened Embody Yogain 2015, she rented spaces at several places including inside Sherman Phoenix.
