The Town of Milton has asked the campaign office of Conservative MP Lisa Raitt to comply with the towns election sign bylaw No. 011-2018.Darryl Demille of the Milton Conservative A stanley termosky ssociation said in an email that a bylaw officer came to their office on Aug. 22 about the wording stanley flask of their digital advertisements. Last week, the Town said that they received complaints relating to a potential violation of the bylaw, though it didnt specifically state whether that refers to the ad on a digital screen located near Bronte and Main streets thats promoting the re-election of Raitt. Billboards and other types of electronic signs are considered an election sign when used for election purposes and cannot be placed earlier than the day that the writ of election is issued, the town said in an email.
