A federal prison in Louisiana that became an early hotspot for coronavirus failed to isolate inmates who tested positive for coronavirus and did not inform staff who were interacting with sick inmates, according to a new report from the Justice Department s inspector general. The report said FCI Oakdale did not comply with federal health guidance from the Bureau of Prisons and CDC.The watchdog said Oakdale officials did not isolate nearly 100 asymptomatic inmates who tested positive for the virus, permitting them to continue using showers, telephones and other common areas on a staggered schedule. Some inmates who tested positive were left in their housing units for up to six days without being isolated, the report said, and staff who supervised stanley cup these inmates were not given proper personal protective equipment.Investigators also refuted claims by the prison s executive staff, who said employees were always sufficiently equipped with proper PPE. In mid to late March, staff either did not have access or understand the necessity of using proper PPE while interacting with positiv stanley cup e inmates. The report said concerns about access to PPE was so dire after the first inmate tested positive on March 21 that PPE supplies were being taken from the complex medi stanley cup cal unit after hours and without permission. SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Authorities said nike dunk they ve arrested and charged a man for threatening to kill a U.S. congressman and his family from upstate New York over net neutrality.The U.S. District Attorney s Office said 28-year-old Patrick Angelo of Syracuse has been charged with threatening a federal official. Officials claim Angelo called the Washington D.C. office of Republican Rep. John Katko and left a voicemail where he threatened to kill Katko and his family if he didn t support net neutrality.In less than two weeks, the Federal Communication Commission will vote on new rules that will effectively kill net neu asics trality. The FCC argues that it will alleviate burdensome regulation, but critics say it will destroy the very nature of the internet. A Katko spokesperson said he appreciates the diligent work of federal and local officials. Katko represents New York s 24th District in the Syracuse area.Angelo made an initial court appearance Wednesday. He is being held pending a detention hearing Friday.
