President Trump s administration announced new sanctions Friday against a number of Russian officials and businesses who could benefit from the Kremlin s destabilizing activity, including some in Russian President Vladimir Putin s inner circle. The Treasury Department has designed 38 Russian individuals and entities in all.The sanctions target a wide range of Russian activity, including the poisoning incident in the United Kingdom that the U.S. and U.K. have blamed hoka on Russia. Those targeted by the new sanctions include Putin s body guard, son-in-law, the head of Russia s national security council and a former prime minister, CBS News Kylie Atwood reports.
