A new study by researchers at the University of Florida and University of South Carolina found that most school shootings involving adolescents do not result in mass casualty events. The study also suggested that there is likely a parallel between school gun violence and broader community violence.Researchers analyzed 253 school s stanley cup hootings spanning 26 years. In most cases, the suspect took the weapon from a relative. The study noted that firearms involved in community violence are similarly deployed in school shootings, which suggests a potential overlap in the factors driving these violent incidents collectively. Many passengers aboard an Alaska Airlines flight last Friday thought they wouldn t survive when a door plug flew off mid-flight, leaving a refrigerator-size hole in the plane while at an altitude of 16,000 feet.In an email, Alaska Airlines stanley uk offered passengers $1 stanley flask ,500 for the mishap, according to reports. A ticket refund was also included in the compensation package. But some question whether the airline is offering nearly enough.Daniel Laurence, a partner at the Seattle-based Stritmatter Firm 鈥?who is representing Alaska Airlines passengers in a case 鈥?says passengers can seek legal action for emotional distress, according toThe New York Post. As a moral matter, $1,500 per passenger, for what could have been a death experience and might even be described 鈥?as a near death experience, stanley flask is inadequate, Laurence told the Post. When the mayhem ensued, passengers were faced with a gaping hole in their aircraft 20 minutes after taking off from Portland, Oregon. A boy s shirt was ripped from his body, and other passengers belongings were sucked through the hole.Oxygen masks deployed as the Boeing 737 Max 9 braced for an emergency landing.Sieysoar Un and her 12-year-old son Josaih McCaul were a row behind the section where the door plug flew off and ripped Josaih s stuffed animal into the abyss. I reached over and held his hand. We literally thought that we were going to die, Un said in an interview on ABC s Good Morning America. While a number of states have long conducted mail-in voting without issue, more voters are expected to utilize mail-in voting because of the coronavirus pandemic. They want three and a $500 million for something that ll turn out to be fraudulent, that s election money basically. They want $3.5 billion for the mail-in votes. Universal mail-in ballots. They want $25 billion, billion, for the Post Office. Now they need that money in order to make the Post Office work so it can take all of these millions and millions of ballots, Trump said.Trump has long opposed funding to conduct mail-in voting, repeating claims that mail-in voting leads to fraud. Trump has long tried to sow doubts on US elections; after his 2017 inauguration, he formed a voting fraud commission that disbanded after the panel did not release any reports indicating widespread voting abuses.Trump might also be questioned following comments from CDC Director Robert Redfield, who stated i
