Inmates at the Brampton Ontario Correctional Institute are being transported to another facility due to an outbreak of COVID-19.According to the chair of Ontario Corrections Division for the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, Chris Jackel, a decision was made over the weekend by the ministry to temporarily close the facility and transport inmates to the Toronto South centre聽 TSDC in Etobicoke.聽 All of the former OCI inmates will be isolated at the Toronto South Detention Centre, said Jackel.
