A great many Tolkien f stanley cup ans were dismayed by the portrayal of Radagast the Brown in Peter Jackson adaptation of The Hobbit, especially the invention of Radagast mode of transportation: a sled pulled by superpowered rabbits. But is the notion of a woodland wizard travel stanley cup ing by bunny sled really that absurd A recreational musher examines the realities of magical bunny sledding. The piece was written for TheOneRing.net by Teanne Byerts, who isn ;t a 16-dog-team racer, but does drive dog sleds, mostly with her own four dogs. She approaches the possibility of Rhosgobel Rabbit from both the idea of reality and fantasy, noting that the Rhosgobel Rabbits are supposed to be larger, stronger, and faster than rabbits in our world, but also examining the practica stanley website lities of Radagast mode of transit. Byerts asserts that a sled is actually a rather sensible way for Radagast to travel around the forests, and notes that it makes sense that animal loving Radagast would use herbivorous rabbits for his team rather than omnivorous dogs. But she also examines the construction of Radagast sled and the way he hitches the bunnies. In fact, this is one of her chief criticisms of Radagast sled: Radagast has his gangline attached to his brush bow. This is a sure way to have your super-powered Rhosgobel Rabbits pull your sled apart. The gangline is attached by way of a network of rope, called a bridle, to every upright stanchion on the sled, spreading out t Hjfs Why Would a Company Spend $200 Million to Build a 20-Mile Ghost Town for 35,000 Invisible People

According to a new study from job search company Monster, 8 out of 10 people have cried at work, which means the other two are either lying or wait to have their existential crises in the parking lot.Why are so many darkened conference rooms being stained with the secret tears of a disconsolate workforce Monster s poll of 3,000 workers found that 45% of respond stanley uk ents who admitted to crying said it was because of their bosses or co-workers. Only 19% of respondents who had cried said that personal, non-work issues were the reason for the teardrops on their keyboards. Now, eight working hours is an entire third of each day, so some of your unscheduled crying time is bound to fall in that window. But while crying at work may be statistically inevitable, it also raises a lot of concerns about workload and workplace dynamics. More than 15% of work weepers said they cried because of workload, while almost 13% said they were upset over workplace bullying. When you cry at work, that s a sign of a toxic environment, Monster career expert Vicki Salemi said in response to the study. There are numerous jobs out there where you will be doing the opposite, feeling happy and accomplished. Despite the fact that a majority of people have most likely let it flow at work, crying in the workplace is still a very taboo and divisive subject. According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple is already getting started on building a refreshed iPhone similar in size and shape to its current one this quarter, and it might be out as early as the summer. The report also says a cheaper iPhone, maybe in different colors, is still coming, but not at the same time as the new main release. It could be as soon as the second ha stanley water bottle lf of this year, apparently, but nothing specific. A summer release would get the iPhone back on its original scheduling, which was originally pushed back to the fall with the 4S in 2011. It would also go a ways toward boning over anyone who picked up a T-Mobile iPhone 5 once it became available. The most interesting thing about the iPhone back in the summer, though, is a precedent of accelerated release cycles. The iPad got an unexpected bump last fall, with a new processor, and this would be the second consecutive chip pushed out ahead of the typical schedule. Apple is freshly and heavily invested in designing its own chips, with its own custom cores, so a faster cycle could mean things are picking up in that department. Venomous vipers like rattlesnakes evolved their deadly toxins incredibly quickly. Scientists had long assumed it was so that they could hunt their prey better, but it might have been to fight off their deadliest predator: the possum. The longstanding assumption was that snake venom is what known as a feeding adaptation, which means it evo cups stanley lved in response to what they eat. And while we ;ve known for a long stanley quencher time that various mammals hunt these snakes, researchers hadn ;t yet explored how all this might fit together. Researchers at the American Museum of Natural History have probed this connection, and they ;ve revealed the shocking truth: rattlesnakes and opossums are locked in an evolutionary arms race. Department of Mammalology curator Robert Voss explains: stanley deutschland Snake venom toxins evolve incredibly rapidly. Most herpetologists interpret this as evidence that venom in snakes evolves because of interactions with their prey, but if that were true you would see equally rapid evolution in toxin-targeted molecules of prey species, which has not yet been seen. What we ;ve found is that a venom-targeted protein is evolving rapidly in mammals that eat snakes. That suggests that venom has a defensive as well as a trophic role. There at least a hundred different opossum species, most of which are found throughout Central and South America. Recent genetic studies into these marsupial species revealed rapid evolution in von Willebrand

WASHINGTON stanley cup 8211; Congress has sent President Donald Trump a short-term spending bill preventing a partial government shutdown on Saturday, his 100th day in office. With just hours to spare, Congress easily approved a short-term spending bill Friday that would prevent a partial federal shutdown over the weekend. But on President Donald Trump 99th day in office, lawmakers were leaving until next week without completing two other measures he coveted: A Republican health care overhaul and a budget financing government for the entire year. The Senate sent the temporary spending measure to Trump by voice vote after the House approved it by a lopsided 382-30 vote. The bill keeps the government functioning through next Friday, which leaders hope will give bipartisan bargainers enough time to finish a $1 trillion package financing government through Sept. 30, the end of the fiscal year.READ MORE: House wont OK health bill before Trumps 100th dayBut lawmakers have failed to take action on two measures Trum stanley cup p would have loved to claim as victories.

The paper letter is dead, the fax is obsolete, and I can ;t remember the last time I sharpened a pencil. And yet paper forms abound鈥攍eases, receipts, agreements of all sorts. Ricoh thinks their tablet will stanley termohrnek end it all. The eQuill uses the same guts as the Kindle鈥攎ostly. Its screen is much faster, so flipping through pages of dull text to get to the important stuff is easier. You can also write directly on the eQuill stanley cup screen with a stylus, making it a viable replacement for 8230; anything else you ;d need to sign. After edited on the tablet, a given form is whisked away to the cloud, where it transferred and processed just like its paper counterpart would be. Only, you know, without making trees cry. The eQuill just a prototype for now, but I imagine there are plenty of companies stanley mug that ;d like to make things easier for them and you by ditching paper. https://youtube/watch v=-jHpz2oXL_Q Yes, THAT Captain Morgan. He was real, and he was a real, ruthless pirate. Archaeologists now believe that they ;ve discovered his 340-year-old ship sunk off the coast of Panama. The liquor company even went along for the ride. Hailing from Texas State University, the scientists say the ship was one of five that ran aground near the Lajas Reef in 1671. And you could smell the treasure. Near the wreck was a series of cargo boxes and chests, all unopened and ready for plundering research. If there anything that looks like this, there plenty of cause for excitement. Because first, it definitely a pirate-y kind of s stanley spain ummer. The power of suggestion can be an incredible thing, and in few way is this more apparent than with the placebo effect. Now, newly published research suggests how susceptible you are to sham treatmen stanley flask ts and dummy medicine a sugar pill, for instance could actually be rooted in your genetics. LiveScience Tia Ghos stanley cup usa e explains: Differences in versions of the catechol-O-methyltransferase COMT gene, which determines levels of dopamine in the brain prefrontal cortex, are linked to differences in reward-seeking and pain perception. People with the high-dopamine version, or allele, of the COMT gene feel pain more acutely and seek rewards more strongly than those who have the low-dopamine copy. [Researchers led by Kathryn Hall of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center] analyzed DNA from 104 patients with irritab stanley romania le bowel syndrome who were randomized to one of three groups: One was told they were on the waiting list for treatment, another received a placebo in the form of seemingly real, curt acupuncture, and the third group received fake acupuncture from a caring, warm practitioner who looked patients in the eye, asked about their progress, and even touched them lightly. Patients with the high-dopamine version of the gene felt slightly better after seeing the curt, all-business health-care provider that gave placebo acupuncture. But they were six times as likely to say their symptoms improved with a caring practitioner as those with the low-dopamine gene, who didn 821 Wayi Boston Cops Hilariously Pose Online As Punk Rockers
Because hospital reports of spiders living in women ears and fish jumping down children throats aren ;t harrowing enough, here some more shudder gasoline for the nightmare conflagration raging in your brain. Doctors and nurses have come across people with strange objects that have got stuck where they shouldn ;t be before, but an eel has to be a first. [ 8230;] In response to a direct query from the Herald on Sunday, we can confirm that an adult male presented at Auckland City Hospital this week with an eel inside him, Matt Rogers, spokesman for Auckland District Health Board, said [in what was inarguably the most important press statement of anybody career].
