DENVER 鈥?Denver Parks and Recreation gave 14 American bison to tribal nations Friday to help reintroduce the animals to their native habitat.Thirteen of the surplus bison are headed to the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes in Oklahoma stanley bottles and an additional bison will go to Tall Bull Memorial Council in Colorado.The donation is part of the City and County of Denvers efforts to return bison to their native homes while supporting conservation efforts on tribal land.
