Halton Regional Police are trying to track down a woman after a theft at a well-known downtown Oakville store.Police say a woman, in her 50s with black and grey hair, wearing a black jacket, black pants, black boots and carrying a blue purse, walked into the Roots store and stole a black leather purse and a pair of polar- vaso stanley tec pants with a total value of $320, at around 2:20 p.m. on Feb. 4.Halton police released surveillance images of a suspect in the hopes of triggering an arrest in the case. Milton Public Library has announced the adoption of 12 calls to action toward truth an stanley cup d reconciliation as outlined in the A Journey to ReconciliAction report by the Hamilton Community Legal Clinic.The report interprets recommendations within the Truth stanley cup and Reconciliation Commission of Canada TRC that can be undertaken by organizations at a local level. I am delighted to be able to share that once again, Milton Public Library continues to lead the community in efforts to decolonize our places and spaces including within our own policies, procedures, programmes and people, Mark Williams, CEO and chief librarian of Milton Public Library, said in a news release.
