Barries transient marina is about to undergo a makeover.Beginning Feb. 6, work to upgrade the citys Bayfield Basin Transient Marina will commence. Plans include improvements to current infrastructure, a modernization of amenities and better utilization of waterfront space. The existing docks will be removed and replaced with a stanley thermobecher modern floating dock system, while enhanced lighting and updated electrical and freshwater infrastructure are also planned.The work will help increase the marinas capacity, from the current 35 transient boat slips to 50.
