Boeing is cutting more than 12,000 jobs through layoffs and buyouts as the coronavirus pandemic seizes the travel industry. JAMAICA PLAIN, Mass. -- A dog in Massachusetts who chewed off his own foot to escape his tether, is resting comfortably after undergoing surgery, the MSPCA said, CBS Boston reported. We re happy to report that Maverick underwent surgery earlier today at Angell Animal Medical Center to repair his foot, and he is now resting comfortably, MSPCA-Angell wrote in a Facebook post.The two-year-old German Shepherd named Maverick, was taken in on July 12 after he became trapped in his te adidas campus ther and chewed off his right rear foot. Maverick was emaciated when they took him in, and his legs were covered in scars from being trapped in the past.
