Proceeds from the event benefit the non-profit and more than $120,000 is expected to be raised.Longtime Special Olympics athlete Michael Poll told TMJ4 News that participating in events and the games has been a life-changing experience. STUART, Fla. 鈥?A man in Florida was flown to a hospital with serious injuries Monday after he was attacked by an alligator that bit him at a park, authorities said.The Martin County Sheriff s Office said the victim fell off his bicycle at Halpatiokee Regi stanley canada onal Park in Stuart and into the water, where he was attacked by the gator.Video from the sheriff stanley cup s office showed paramedics loading the man on a stretcher into a Martin County Fire Rescue helicopter.
