WASHINGTON 鈥?The Trump administration on Saturday released a set of documents once deemed top secret relating to the wiretapping of a onetime adviser to Donald Trump presidential campaign.The New York Times reported that the documents involving former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page were released to the Times and several other media organizations that had filed Freedom of Information Act lawsuits to obtain them. The FBI later posted the documents to its FOIA website online.The materials include an October 2016 application to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to wiretap Page as well as several renewal applications, the Times reported. It is highly unusual for docume stanley cup nts related to FISA wiretap applications to be released.While the documents were heavily redacted in places, the Times reported that visible portions of the documents show the FBI telling the intelligence court that Page has been collaborating and conspiring with the Russian government. Gavin Newsom threatened Monday to impose mandatory water restrictions if residen air force 1 ts don ;t use less on their own as a drought drags on and the hotter summer months approach.Newsom raised that possibility in a meeting with representatives from major water agencies, including those that supply Los Angeles, San Diego and the San Francisco Bay Area. The Democratic governor has avoided issuing sweeping, mandatory cuts in water use and instead favored giving local water agencies power to set rules for water use in the cities and towns they supply.January through March typically is when most of Californias annual rain and snow falls, but this year those months were聽the driest in at least a century.聽Despite calls for conservation, the state water use went up dramatically in March 鈥斅?9 percent compared to the same month in 2020聽鈥?and now Newsom is considering changing his approach.
