By Alex FitzpatrickFebruary 7, 2018 3:33 PM ESTThere no group of gadgets out there more exciting than drones right now. Thanks to their ever-improving camera specs, ever-shrinking size, and ever-expanding roster of aerial abilities, they ;re a blessing for tech fans bored of the same-old, same salomon -old in the smartphone world. And no dronemaker is as interesting as DJI, the Shenzhen-based firm that quickly earning the Apple of drones moniker.DJI latest effort is the $799 Mavic Air, a foldable drone designed to be stuffed into a backpack and taken on all manner of adventures without sacrificing image and video quality. It also more portable than the Mavic Pro, making it an ideal choice for hikers, travelers and others who want top-notch results without a cumbersome setup. Families and teachers were thrust into online learning at the end of March when schools closed due to the outbreak, presenting a challenging 鈥?and sometimes completely impossible 鈥?situation for all involved. It was horrible, said Tara Dean-Whitt, a parent of two kids enrolled in Orangeville schools. I have no other words. stanley canada It was really, really bad. Dean-Whitts daughters, Elia who completed Grade 5 , and Quyhn who completed Grade 4 in French immersion, struggled greatly with the online format for a variety of reasons. ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW My children dont learn well online at all, said Dean-Whitt. Its too easy for them to check out, pull up YouTube instead of work. If I leave the room, they just stop working completely, so I have to sit there for hours on end. There were tears, there was yelling, they didnt want to get out of bed. They would hide; nobody wanted to do the work. Dean-Whitt added that she was fortunate, as she works at night so she could help during the day, but noted that a lot of local families are either dual-income or single-parent households, which makes the experience even harder. ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW It is difficult to imagine a more horrific way to take a human life than by slitting the victims throat. Mr. Zaman did so not just once, but four separate times over a span of hours.Zaman texted a friend in Minnesota about the murders along with pictures of the bloody bodies, according to an agreed statement of facts.
