SFDCI will try to shoot their way to the provincial gold medal game in 2021.For the first time, Smiths Falls District Collegiate Institute will be hosting boys ; OFSAA basketball in 2021. There will be 18 teams throughout Ontario coming to Smiths Falls to try and capture provincial gold. Being a host school automatically qualifies the RedHawks to compete in the tournament. It was in 2011 that the boys team won gold at this level; in 2021 it will mark this 10-year accomplishment.An OFSAA launch event took place at Settlers Ridge Mall on Sept. 27 to celebrate RedHawks basketball and former mem stanley cupe bers of the 2011 gold medal team and to kick off promoting this huge event.
