Parkdale Community Legal Services is facing yet another threat to its future.Late last year the community lega stanley cup l clinic was in jeopardy of closing because of a leasing dispute with its landlord at 1266 Queen St. W., where its been based for nearly 18 years. With the support of chief funding partner Legal Aid Ontario LAO , the clinic was able to secure office space at another location in Parkdale near the intersection of King Street and Jameson Avenue, and is planning to move to its new home following expiration of its existing lease at stanley cup the end of July.聽With renovations set to begin on preparing the new space, the clinic now says its been informed by LAO that its long term funding, and perhaps its future, is now in doubt.
