The Green Lake County Communications Center received a call from the Dodge County Sheriffs Office on Monday, August 12 about a kayaker who had not returned home from the previous night.Deputies checked the area and located an overturned, unoccupied kayak with a life jacket attached, according to the Green Lake County Sheriff s Office GLCSO .The missing kayaker was determined to be a 44-year-old man.A search of the area on Green Lake was conducted by multiple DNR and Sheriffs Office boats, early Monday morning.His vehicle was found near Dodge Memorial Park. Those jobs have a starting pay of more than $19 per hou stanley mugg r and offer benefits including health insurance.To learn more about the immediate push for rural mail carriers, we spoke with Lisa Wojnarawski, a workforce planning specialist with USPS. I was a rural mail carrier for 27 years. I loved every minute of it, said Wojnarawski. She said delivering mail to rural Wisconsin residents was a fulfilling daily mission for more than two decades. You become part of that community, that family, she said.Now she s trying to convince the next generation to take a chance and apply. My passion for the rural carrier craft is what prompted me to want to be a recruiter for the post office.
