A passenger successfully landed a small plane on Friday after the pilot had a medical emergency, the Federal Aviation Administrationsaid.The twin-engine Beechcraft King Air 90 was traveling from Henderson Executive Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada to Monterey Regional Airport in California, with a pilot and one other person on board, the FAA said.The pilot suffered an unspecified medical emergency while flying, the FAA said, forcing the passenger to take the controls and make an emergency landing at Meadows Field Airport in Bakersfield, California. The Kern Fire Department told CBS News affiliate KBAX that firefighters were ca stanley cup lled to a report of a medical emergency on the plane. The pilot was reported to be incapacitated, the fire department said. Firefighters saw the plane approach and land safely, then cha stanley cup sed the plane down the runway in emergency vehicles to meet it.The FAA did not release the passenger or pilot s identities nor give an update on the pi stanley cup lot s condition. The pilot was taken to an area hospital by ambulance. The passenger did not report any injuries. The FAA and the National Transportation Security Board will investigate the incident, the FAA said. NEW YORK -- The New York Police Department s internal affairs division is looking into a v jordan ideo of an officer who appears to repeatedly punch the head of a teen who had been accused of trying to steal a bicycle. Authorities said officers had been flagged down on Fri stanley cup day and told about the attempted theft. Police say the teen pushed one of the officers down and put his hands around his neck. A video that surfaced online shows the teen on top of an officer while a second officer, who has his arms around the teen, can be seen punching him several times as onlookers protest. The teen was eventually put in handcuffs. He was arrested on charges including assault and resisting arrest. CBS New York reports the teen was suspected in a number of armed robberies and attempted robberies last summer.
